Beginning May 29, 2019 closures to affect southbound traffic on SH 286 (Crosstown Expressway)

CORPUS CHRISTI – Beginning May 29, 2019, long-term ramp closures will affect southbound traffic on SH 286 (Crosstown Expressway) between Leopard Street and Agnes Street.  All work is weather permitting. A detailed listing of closures is included below.

Beginning May 29, 2019 to July 31, 2019 the following ramp closure will be in effect:

The southbound exit ramp from SH 286 (Crosstown Expressway) to Laredo/Agnes Streets will be closed for the construction of the SH 286 southbound frontage road (Culberson St.)  Motorists needing to exit southbound SH 286 in this area will need to utilize the Morgan Avenue exit ramp.

Beginning May 29, 2019 to July 31, 2019 the following ramp closure will be in effect:

The southbound entrance ramp to SH 286 (Crosstown Expressway) south of Comanche Street will be closed for the construction of the SH 286 southbound frontage road (Culberson St.)  Motorists needing to enter southbound SH 286 in this area will need to utilize the SH 286 entrance ramp south of Agnes Street.

Detour routes will be established and traffic signs will assist with navigating motorists through alternative routes.
