CORPUS CHRISTI –Beginning Wednesday, March 18, newly constructed pavement sections on N Port Avenue and IH 37 eastbound and westbound frontage roads will be opened to traffic between N Port Avenue and Stillman Avenue.
Motorists traveling along N Port Avenue between Antelope Street and Martin Luther King Drive will be shifted to the southbound lanes. IH 37 eastbound and westbound frontage roads will be shifted to the left onto newly constructed lanes. Access to side streets and to all businesses and properties along the frontage roads will be maintained during the switch.
Motorists are urged to be aware of the shifted lanes, to consider using alternate routes, to follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
