CORPUS CHRISTI –Southbound IH 37 mainlanes will be closed for construction activities at the Port Avenue Exit. The southbound closure will begin at 9 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, and last until 6 a.m., Wednesday, August 5. Traffic will be detoured at the Port Avenue exit and along the detour route. Message boards are in place to alert traffic.
Motorists are urged to be aware of the mainlane closures, to consider using alternate routes, to follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
