CORPUS CHRISTI –Beginning TONIGHT, Monday, August 17, IH 37 northbound mainlanes will be closed from Nueces Bay Boulevard to Buddy Lawrence Drive from 9 pm until 6 am. The closure is necessary for construction related to the New Harbor Bridge Project.
Detour signs will be in place directing northbound motorists to exit IH 37 at Nueces Bay Boulevard and re-enter at Up River Road.
Motorists are urged to be aware of the mainlane closures, to consider using alternate routes, to follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
