CORPUS CHRISTI –On Wednesday, September 16, at 2 pm until 4 pm, traffic delays will be in effect along northbound IH 37 frontage road from Up River Road to N Port Avenue. Contraflow traffic along the frontage road and 10 minute intersection closures are necessary to relocate the Launching Gantry Crane from the North Approach to the South Approach of the Harbor Bridge Project.
Motorcycle officers will be on hand to divert traffic around the caravan and to assist with motorists delays at the intersections along the IH 37 northbound frontage road.
Motorists are urged to be aware of the short-term traffic switch, consider using alternate travel times, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
