CORPUS CHRISTI –Beginning Saturday, October 31, 2020, the newly constructed exit ramp for Port Avenue from northbound IH 37 will be open for motorists. This exit ramp is part of new work associated with the Harbor Bridge Replacement Project.
The northbound exit ramp to Nueces Bay Boulevard will be permanently closed on Saturday, October 31, 2020. Motorists heading northbound on IH 37 can access Nueces Bay Boulevard by utilizing the newly opened Port Avenue exit ramp, continuing along the frontage road to Nueces Bay Boulevard.
Detour signs will be in place to direct motorists.
Motorists are urged to be aware of the exit ramp changes, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
