On Monday, April 5, the direct connector from northbound SH 286 (Crosstown Expressway) to southbound IH 37 will be closed from 10 pm until 6 am Tuesday, April 5.

CORPUS CHRISTI – On Monday, April 5, the direct connector from northbound SH 286 (Crosstown Expressway) to southbound IH 37 will be closed from 10 pm until 6 am Tuesday, April 5. The closure is necessary for construction related to the Harbor Bridge Project.

Motorists heading northbound on SH 286 will take the northbound IH 37 exit and make a U-turn at Up River Road to continue southbound on IH 37.

Portable message signs will assist motorists with navigating through the alternate route.

Motorists are urged to be aware of the closure, consider using alternate routes, to follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones.  All work is weather permitting.
