CORPUS CHRISTI – Beginning Monday, December 2, from 9 pm until 6 am, nightly through Thursday, December 5, southbound US 181 will be reduced to one lane from Beach Avenue to Burleson Street. The mainlane reduction is necessary for retaining wall work.
Portable message signs will be in place to alert motorists of the mainlane reductions.
Motorists are urged to be aware of slow-rolling traffic, consider using alternate routes to the frontage roads, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
