CORPUS CHRISTI – On Thursday, June 5, from 9 pm until 6 am, the exit ramps from southbound I-37 to Port Avenue and to southbound SH 286 will be closed. The ramp closures are necessary for overhead sign installation.
Motorists heading southbound on I-37 to the exit ramps for Port Avenue and to southbound SH 286 should seek alternate routes. Portable message signs will be in place along southbound I-37 to alert commuters of the temporary exit ramp closures and potential traffic delays.
Motorists are urged to be aware of slow-rolling traffic, plan for an alternate route, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
