TxDOT and Project Developer seek community input on logo design for new Harbor Bridge Project
Online voting runs from Monday, September 26-Friday, October 7

CORPUS CHRISTI—The TxDOT-Corpus Christi District and the construction firm hired to build the new Harbor Bridge, Flatiron/Dragados, LLC, are asking the community to vote on the new logo for the Harbor Bridge Project.

Monday, September 26, kicks off the opportunity for the public to participate in online voting, where they will get the chance to be a part of history. Two logo concepts representing the Harbor Bridge Project will be posted on the Project website, www.harborbridgeproject.com, for viewing and voting. The public will have the chance to view the two logos and then vote for their favorite one. Online voting will be available until midnight, Friday, October 7. Links to the online vote will also be shared via Harbor Bridge Project Facebook and Twitter social media accounts. The winning logo is scheduled to be announced the week of October 10.

For information and to vote for your favorite logo, visit www.harborbridgeproject.com.

About the Harbor Bridge Project: The nearly $900 million project will include the development, design and construction of just over six miles of combined bridge and roadway. It will include the new six-lane Harbor Bridge, as well as, the reconstruction of approximately 1.6 miles of IH-37 and approximately one mile of the Crosstown Expressway. Once the new bridge is open to the traveling public, the project will conclude with the demolition of the existing Harbor Bridge. It is anticipated that the project will take five years to complete.
