Beginning August 14, the newly constructed Comanche Street Bridge now open to traffic

CORPUS CHRISTI –Beginning Wednesday, August 14, 2019 the newly constructed Comanche Street Bridge will be open to motorists.   The original structure was demolished and reconstructed as part of the Harbor Bridge Project.  Traffic patterns near the bridge will include the opening of Comanche Street from Coke Street to Mexico Street, two lanes of Culberson Street, south of Comanche Street and the southbound SH 286 entrance ramp. All way stops will be in place at the Comanche Street and Culberson Street intersection.  Pedestrian access on the new Comanche Street Bridge is still under construction.  Pedestrian access will be available via the Lipan Street Bridge, until further notice.
