Upcoming Harbor Bridge Project closure to affect the Comanche Street ramp from northbound SH 286 (Crosstown Expressway). Weekend closure to be in effect June 23 – 26.

CORPUS CHRISTI – Beginning Friday, June 23 at 9 pm until 6 am, Monday, June 26, the Comanche Street exit ramp from northbound SH 286 (Crosstown Expressway) will be closed to traffic. The closure is necessary for construction related to the Harbor Bridge Project.

Motorists heading towards the uptown area around Leopard, Lipan, and Comanche Streets will follow the Staples Street exit detour signs.

Motorists heading towards Comanche Street and Port Avenue will continue on the direct connector to northbound IH 37, take the Nueces Bay Boulevard exit, make a U-turn, and continue on the frontage road to Port Avenue.

Motorists are urged to be aware of the temporary ramp closure, consider using alternate routes, and to slow down in all work zones. All work is weather permitting.
