CORPUS CHRISTI – Beginning Tuesday, March 25, from 4 am until 4 pm daily, through Wednesday, March 26, southbound I-37 will undergo intermittent mainlane reductions from Nueces Bay Boulevard to the South Interchange. The lane reductions are essential to commuter safety as we advance toward final traffic configurations ahead of opening the new bridge to traffic later this spring.
Portable message signs will be in place to alert motorists of the mainlane reductions.
Motorists are urged to be aware of slow-rolling traffic, plan for an alternate route, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
