CORPUS CHRISTI – On Sunday, March 16, from 6 am until 5 pm, the entire Port Avenue intersection will be closed at the Martin Luther King Drive and Antelope Street frontage roads beneath the IH 37 bridge. The closures are necessary to complete final surface paving.
The northbound IH 37 exit to Port Ave/Nueces Bay Blvd will be closed during the daytime operations. Motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly and seek alternate routes.
Flaggers will be in place to assist motorists with navigating the area.
Motorists are urged to be aware of the intersection closures, consider using alternate routes, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
