CORPUS CHRISTI – Beginning Monday, July 24, from 9 am until 3 pm, through Friday, July 28, brief intermittent right lane reductions will occur for southbound US 181 from Beach Avenue to Burleson Street. The mainlane reduction is necessary to lift segments for the North Approach Bridge.
Portable message signs will be in place to alert motorists of the mainlane reduction.
Motorists are urged to be aware of the mainlane closure, consider using alternate routes, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
