CORPUS CHRISTI – Beginning Monday, June 27, until Friday, July 1, from 8 am – 5 pm, short-term closures will occur along Antelope Street from Nueces Bay Boulevard to Port Avenue. The closures are necessary to construct the new frontage road as part of the Harbor Bridge Project.
Motorists heading southbound on Antelope Street will be detoured to Leopard Street and turn left to continue towards Port Avenue.
A flagging operation and portable message signs will be in place to assist motorists with navigating the alternate route.
Motorists are urged to be aware of the closures, consider using alternate routes, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
