CORPUS CHRISTI – Beginning Monday, October 28, from 9 pm until 6 am, nightly through Thursday, October 31, alternating IH 37 mainlane closures will occur between Port Avenue and Nueces Bay Blvd. The temporary lane closures are necessary to continue final painting operations on overhead bridge structures.
Motorists heading westbound on IH 37 towards Calallen should be prepared for slower-moving traffic.
Traffic control devices will be in place during the alternating lane closures.
Motorists are urged to be aware of the mainlane closures, consider using alternate routes, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
