CORPUS CHRISTI – On Wednesday, May 7, from 9 pm until 3 am, the connector ramp from southbound IH 37 to southbound SH 286 will be closed. The nightly ramp closure is necessary for overhead sign installation operations.
Motorists heading southbound on IH 37 should seek an alternate route to access southbound SH 286 during the short-term closure.
Traffic control devices will be in place to alert commuters of the ramp closure.
Motorists are urged to be aware of the ramp closure, consider using alternate routes, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
