Upcoming Harbor Bridge Project nightly closures to the connector ramp from northbound SH 286 (Crosstown Expressway) to northbound IH 37. Nightly ramp closures to be in effect October 2 - 5.

CORPUS CHRISTI – Beginning Monday, October 2, from 9 pm until 6 am, nightly through Thursday, October 5, the connector ramp from northbound SH 286 to northbound IH 37 mainlanes will be closed. The closure is necessary to install overhead permanent metal decking. Do not be alarmed by the welding light show.

Motorists heading northbound on SH 286 to northbound IH 37 will follow the detour to Staples Street, turn left on Staples Street, and turn left on the Martin Luther King Drive frontage road to enter IH 37 at the Stillman Avenue on-ramp.

Motorists are urged to be aware of the ramp closure, consider using alternate routes, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
