CORPUS CHRISTI – On Wednesday, June 11, from 9 pm until 6 am, the connector ramp from northbound SH 286 to northbound I-37 will be closed. The temporary ramp closure is necessary for overhead sign installation operations.
Motorists heading northbound on SH 286 should seek an alternate route to access northbound I-37 during the short-term closure.
Portable message signs will be in place along northbound SH 286 to alert commuters of the ramp closure and to assist with the alternate route.
Motorists are urged to be aware of the ramp closure, consider using alternate routes, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
