Upcoming Harbor Bridge Project temporary closure to affect the Northwest Loop Ramp from the northbound I-37 frontage road to southbound SH 286. Motorists should seek alternate routes. Temporary one-night closure to be in effect June 10, 2025.

CORPUS CHRISTI – On Tuesday, June 10, from 9 pm until  6 am, the Northwest Loop Ramp will be closed from Martin Luther King Drive to the connection for southbound SH 286. The temporary closure is necessary for overhead sign installation.

Motorists heading southbound on US 181 to southbound SH 286 will be detoured to take the Port Ave/Nueces Bay Blvd exit, make a U-turn at Nueces Bay Blvd, and continue southbound on I-37 to the direct connector ramp for southbound SH 286.

Portable message signs will be in place to alert motorists of the closure and to assist with navigating the alternate routes.

Motorists are urged to be aware of slow-rolling traffic, plan for an alternate route, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
