CORPUS CHRISTI – On Tuesday, June 3, from 9 pm until  6 am, the southbound SH 286 entrance ramp from Comanche Street will be closed. At the same time, there will be a southbound SH 286 mainlane reduction from the South Interchange to Agnes Street.  The closures are necessary for overhead sign installation.

Motorists utilizing the closed entrance ramp will be detoured to continue along the frontage road to access southbound SH 286. Portable message signs will be in place to alert commuters of the temporary ramp closure and mainlane reduction.

Motorists are urged to be aware of slow-rolling traffic, plan for an alternate route, follow all traffic control devices, and to slow down in the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
