CORPUS CHRISTI – The Harbor Bridge Replacement Project developer, Flatiron/Dragados LLC. (FDLLC), will host the Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) for rescue drill training exercises on various structures within the project limits on Monday, November 20.
The coordinated effort will focus on rescue drill training in high-elevation and confined space scenarios as follows:
- A lifelike mannequin will be extracted from various structures around the project.
- Simulated rescues will be challenging and technical in nature, with an emphasis on safety and rescuer competency.
FDLLC is pleased to have sponsored essential CCFD ropes training classes last year. We look forward to the partnering opportunity and strengthening the abilities of CCFD fire fighters through the second round of planned training events.
